Downtown Gal

Well, it’s official! I am moving this September from the Upper East Side to Tribeca - this uptown girl will now be a downtown girl. I recently checked out my new apartment (pictures to come) and couldn’t be more excited. My head is spinning how I want to decorate my new bedroom. Which means, I need YOUR HELP.  I have TOO many ideas.

One question for you: Where do you guys shop for fun bedding? I found a fabulous duvet cover at Anthropologie, but I’m not about to drop $300+ on a bedding (sigh).

Second question: I want to put a statement piece above my bed. What do you think about the following? What Direction should I go?

This is the room that inspired me. I love the mix of prints (what I would do to be able to wallpaper), the colors, and the artwork.
