As you everything-pretty readers know, Venessa will be getting married in one month! Since I wasn't able to make her original bachelorette party in Miami, I wanted to do something special for her. One thing I love about Venessa is that she's the type of friend you can do absolutely nothing with and have the best time ever. Don't you love friends like that? So, I wanted to do something low-key & intimate - not the typical adult novelties & stripper type party (hey, those are fun too!). I opted for a champagne and cheese night with tea candles, a Billie Holiday playlist, and fun DIY details.
DIY Champagne Bar
w/ blood orange juice, strawberries and blackberries
I purchased gold napkins and used a rubber champagne stamp.
DIY Chalkboard Cheese Plate
I purchased a bamboo serving tray from the dollar store and used a paint roller & some chalkboard paint.
Homemade Vodka Lemonade
I used a recipe I found on pinterest: Lemonade, Vodka and beer (yes, beer).
Mason jars
AND... Fresh New York City bodega flowers.

And us!
The night was perfect - we definitely made many champagne cocktails and sipped on the lemonade. We had a tarot card reader come which was a fun and unique treat! I am so fortunate to have a friend like Venessa in my life ... Do you know when you have friends that are just friend soulmates? That is Venessa.
Venessa, I am SO happy for you and excited to be part of your special day!

love all the details!
