I thought I'd post a little inspiration for bridesmaids dresses since some of my lovely ladies and I are playing dress up today. And because even if you aren't getting married tomorrow, they are oh so pretty to look at, aren't they?
I don't know for sure what I want yet (long? short? both long + short?), but I have some kind of vision.
Here's what i do know :
1. Every girl will look different and choose a style
that best fits their body(under my careful supervision, of course).
No more 80s prom, matchy matchy, good lord. And maybe I'm taking it
a bit too far, but those parasols are kind of amazing too.
2. I want the girls to choose from dresses in a color palette like this (soft, romantic, blush tones).
I'm thinking, light light pink, light rose, champagne, soft grey, nude.
3. Like I said, the length is really stumping me. I've been saying floor length chiffon, but there are so many beautiful short dresses. And I'm getting married in May . . . in Florida . . .
A sweaty bridesmaid is not a happy one.
But floor length is so elegant! At first I thought it was either all long or all short, but looking at this photo above, I'm not hating the combination . . . actually, it's quite pretty.
Well, we're off (is it tacky to bring champagne in a flask? Totally kidding . . . sort of . . . )
